Knitting Bowls

Knitting bowls are the best. The yarn is free without rolling all over the floor and the wood is heavy enough so that the bowl isn't rolling or sliding all over the floor.

The Cost of Wood

Never know what Steve is going to bring home or the cost. The big board is maple and the small board in front is leopard wood ( close up is also.) These two board cost almost the same. The  leopard is three wood feet compared to thirteen board feet of the maple and is almost the same price.

This was a requested custom commission Steve did for a friend of ours. The board is two feet by three feet all in walnut. It is gorgeous.

I love this giraffe bank. He built it eight years ago and the kids still love to play with it and feed it change.
